New laws passed in Brussels give Foreign Hauliers even more reason to swarm into Britain.

Foreign Truckers are currently not allowed to aquire fresh work within the UK once they have delivered their loads.

But new regulations passed in Brussels last month by EU Parliament will allow European drivers to do upto Three more jobs within the UK per Week before returning home.

Further more in 2010 they will be allowed to do upto seven jobs and by 2014 they will be able to take on UNLIMITED work accross the UK market both in number of jobs and time it takes to do them.

British Haulage Companies are already struggling to compete and Britains Roads are already streched to breaking point with these foriegn hauliers that do not pay any form of Road Tax to run in the UK, run on cheap dirty diesel whilst we pay a premium and they also use unregulated labour to boot.

What has happened to Great Britain? This will cost the Economy upwards from £165 million per year and will cause many of our hauliers to go under !!!

The Law to be carved in stone next month in Brussels will greatly increase their access to UK markets dealing a crippling blow to UK Hauliers and Drivers who cannot compete when they have an advantage with Fuel costs, Road Tax and the cost of Drivers Wages being that they mostly employ cheap Eastern European Drivers.
