An Audience with Sally ‘Traffic’ Boazman, Saturday 6th March.
On Saturday 6th of March, BBC Radio 2’s Sally ‘Traffic’ will be doing An Audience with Sally ‘Traffic’ Boazman, in North London, with all proceeds going to Transaid. Transaid is an international development charity that works to reduce poverty and improve lives in Africa and across the developing world through creating better access to transport, so people can have better access to basic services, such as healthcare and education, and economic opportunities.
We are strongly supported by the transport and logistics industry in the UK and one of our current projects focuses on improving professional driver training standards for HGV drivers in Zambia, aiming to reduce the number of road deaths which are the third biggest killer in sub-Saharan Africa following HIV/AIDS and malaria.
